Happy Guru Nanak Jayanti 2022: Images, Quotes, Wishes, Messages, Cards, Greetings, Pictures and GIFs

Guru Nanak Jayanti celebrates the birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. It is one of the most popular festivals in India. People across the country celebrate this day with great devotion. Sikh devotees prepare special dishes at home, pray at Gurudwaras and even decorate their houses to make it look all special. People also help in organizing langars at Gurudwaras and volunteer for social services as well. This day also sees Prabhat Pheri being organized in various parts of the country where people sing devotional songs. But since this year, we're all confined to our homes due to COVID-19, the celebrations are going to be restricted to limited spaces. No grand celebrations will take place this year in order to avoid large crowds and to maintain social distancing.

Here are some images, quotes, wishes, messages, cards, greetings, pictures and GIFs that you can use to send to your friends and families:  Sources :-

Whatever be the qualities of the man with whom a woman is united according to the law, such qualities even she assumes, like a river, united with the ocean.
-Guru Nanak

There is but One God. His name is Truth; He is the Creator. He fears none; he is without hate. He never dies; He is beyond the cycle of births and death. He is self-illuminated. He is realized by the kindness of the True Guru. He was True in the beginning; He was True when the ages commenced and have ever been True. He is also True now - Guru Nanak

Even kings and emperors with heaps of wealth and vast dominion cannot compare with an ant filled with the love of God. - Guru Nanak

I am not the born; how can there be either birth or death for me? - Guru Nanak

Asceticism doesn't lie in mere words; He is an ascetic who treats everyone alike. Asceticism doesn't lie in visiting burial places; it lies not in wandering about nor in bathing at places of pilgrimage. Asceticism is to remain pure amidst impurities.
- Guru Nanak

There are worlds and more worlds below them, and there are a hundred thousand skies over them. No one has been able to find the limits and boundaries of God. If there be any account of God, then alone the mortal can write the same; but God's account does not finish, and the mortal himself dies while still writing. - Guru Nanak

God is one, but he has innumerable forms. He is the creator of all and he himself takes the human form.
- Guru Nanak

As fragrance abides in the flower,
As reflection is within the mirror,
So, does your Lord, abide with you,
Why search for him without?
- Guru Nanak

Through shallow intellect, the mind becomes shallow, and one eats the fly, along with the sweets.
- Guru Nanak

Why People Celebrate Shivaratri || What Means of Maha Shivaraatri

Maha Shivaratri:-   "Shiva-ratri means 'auspicious (Shiva) darkness (ratri). At least on this day, one should chant Shiva's name all through the night."   Meaning Of Maha-Shiva-ratri:-  "If you make the slightest effort to progress along the path of liberation, the Lord will help you a hundred-fold. Shivaratri conveys that hope to you. The moon, which is the presiding deity of the mind of man, wanes until the fourteenth day after full moon. It is just a tiny curve of glimmering glow.  The mind should be starved into the condition, so that man becomes free. Spend all the days with Shiva, and the conquest of the mind is easy. Spend the fourteenth day of the waning moon with Shiva, reaching the climax of the spiritual effort on the final day, and success is yours. That is why all Chaturdashis of the dark haif of every month are called Shivaratris, that is why the Chaturdashi of the Magha month is called Mahashivaratri. That is a day of special dedication to Sh...
